What happens when you do not get enough sleep?

By Sade Oguntola - Nigeria

If you aren't getting enough sleep, you may need to develop and maintain healthy sleeping habits, Experts warn that aside poor sleep increasing a person's risk of developing obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure or heart disease, it also causes mild thinking problems.
Sleep is essential for a person's health and wellbeing. Most living creatures live according to a fairly regular sleep cycle. And for a reason, it is part of your survival mechanism. Yet millions of people do not get enough sleep and many suffer from lack of sleep.
However, sleep needs of people vary. In general, most healthy adults are built for 16 hours of wakefulness and need an average of eight hours of sleep a night. However, some individuals are able to function without feeling sleepy or drowsy after as little as six hours of sleep.
Others cannot perform at their peak unless they have slept 10 hours.
Poor sleep habits are among the most common problems encountered in our society. Many people stay up too late and get up too early. Some people interrupt their sleep with drugs, chemicals and work while others over stimulate themselves with late-night activities such as television and night calls.

A good night's sleep is one of the pleasures of life, but poor sleep ages the brain. Evidences indicate that the amount and quality of sleep could be linked to mental deterioration and Alzheimer's disease.

Dear Sugar
Time and ability plus double capacity has forced my pen to dance automatically on this benedicted sheet of paper. Why this miraculous thing happened is because honey I love you spontaneously
and as I stand horizontal to the wall and perpendicular to the ground I only think of you, since you are a fantastic and fabulous girl. Darling please Stop haranguing with the feelings in my heart because I love you more than a snake loves rat. To me each day starts by thinking of you and ends by dreaming of you. Each time I see you my metabolism suddenly stops and my peristalsis goes in reverse gear. My medular-oblangata also stops functioning.

10 ways to battle your belly bulge.

 Arinola Adeniyi - Nigeria

Abdominal obesity, belly pooch, spare tyre, belly fat, protruding stomach, pot belly, midriff bulge, central obesity...
I could go on and on, but it's just the nomenclature for a challenge common to a lot of us.
Long gone are the days when a robust mid section would be termed as a sign of prosperity or the size of a person's bank account.
Abdominal obesity raises the risk of some health problems-diabetes, hypertension, stroke, heart attack or long term heart disease.
A tape measurement of 35'' or more in women is classified as abdominal obesity.
It is so easy to gain and difficult to get rid of.

Diet, starvation, abstaining from those things which you love best, two hours on the treadmill for those physically strong enough but alas! The fat is not shifting!
You are depressed, self esteem is low, feelings of discomfort, your belt can't stay on your waistline so you have stopped bothering to use one. You can't tuck in your shirts or blouses to show off the beautiful waistband of your skirt or pair of trousers.
The original purpose of belly fat is to form a protective layer around the internal organs but the sheer size of fat stored is strangling the life of the organs it was designed to protect.
Fat located around the belly is quite different from fat located in other places because of its proximity to our organs.

Let us look at 10 ways to battle the bulge and have a flat stomach:
1. Make long term lifestyle choices.

2. Cut back on calories. Reduce your caloric intake daily.

3. Eat less junk (comfort/convenience food) and sugar. This will translate into eating less as well as better calories.
4. Drink more water; sometimes hunger pangs are usually the body's need for water.
5. Start an exercise routine. Get plenty healthy exercise. Regular cardio exercise, swimming, walking, cycling. Just stomach exercise does not help lose belly fat, maybe not that much. Stomach exercises tone the abdomen, make them stronger but not to burn fat!
6. Cut out alcohol
Alcohol is a form of energy which adds to your caloric intake. It does not contain any nutrients at all, so the energy consumed turns into belly fat.

7. Shun late night meals/snacks.
This is because there is never much activity done after and you go straight to bed. This causes high sugar level in the blood, which turns into belly fat quickly.

8. Get a herbal steam therapy:
This therapy is concentrated on the belly and it improves peripheral circulation by vasodilatation. This opens the pores in the stomach, absorbs the fat burners, eliminates impurities through sweat, helps with inflammation and bloating and provides lightness to the body. The therapeutic effect of herbal steam therapy is undeniable. The effect is swift and tangible.
9. G5 - Deep power massager will assist in breaking down the stubborn fat.
10. Increase/boost your metabolism and build lean muscle tissue.
You need to embrace life and pay more attention to your core. Your health is your best investment, so safeguard your midriff.
A wise man, Adelle Davis, once said, 'everyday you do one of two things-build health or produce disease in yourself.' Regimen is superior to medicine. Make long lasting lifestyle choices that would improve the quality of your well-being.

Top foods to keep you young

Culled from MSN lifestyle

Ageing, pollution, stress and fatigue can all take their toll on our appearance. From wrinkles to under-eye circles and eye bags to spots, the effects of our lifestyles can display themselves on our faces before we even start to feel them. Maintaining a healthy and well-balanced diet is one approach, and the good news is that there are some foods that are thought to give you extra ammunition when it comes to combating the signs of ageing. By eating the right foods and paying attention to your diet, you can drastically improve your appearance. Here are the top foods for a natural facelift.

Spinach

Spinach, like many other dark green leafy vegetables, is rich in an antioxidant called lutein. Not only is this great for healthy eyes, but more recent research has shown that it is also good for preventing wrinkles by helping to retain the skin's moisture and elasticity, increasing lipid levels and preventing damage caused by free radicals. The benefits of spinach do not stop there, however, as the leafy vegetable also has the power to reduce dark circles under the eyes due to its high levels of vitamins K and C.

Oysters

Besides being a well known aphrodisiac, oysters can also enhance your beauty. If you are suffering from pale, sallow skin or dark circles under your eyes, this may be due to vitamin B12 or iron deficiencies, both of which can cause anaemia. To beat pasty skin, try boosting your intake of these essential nutrients by stocking up on oysters, which have high levels of both.

Garlic

It may not be the most fragrant of foods, but garlic is a super food that can have great skin benefits. As a natural antibiotic with blood cleansing, immune boosting, antibacterial properties, garlic is an effective, cheap and healthy way to help naturally treat acne. While there are many reasons people suffer from spots, garlic - particularly when eaten raw and crushed - can help reduce future breakouts, while its anti-inflammatory properties can reduce the swelling and inflammation of acne.

Avocados

Avocados often get bad press due to their high levels of fats, however the healthy fats contained in an avocado can actually do wonders for your skin. Packed with omega-3 fatty acids, avocadoes can help to moisturise your skin from the inside and increase collagen production, helping to prevent wrinkles.

Bananas

Many people know that fluid retention is the primary cause of belly bloating, but it can also be responsible for a puffy face and bags under the eyes. Fortunately, fluid retention can be treated through the diet by redressing the body's sodium/potassium balance. As these two minerals work against each other to balance water in the body, too little potassium - or too much salt - is one of the most common causes of water retention. Redress this by increasing your intake of potassium through foods such as bananas. Other potassium rich foods include strawberries, melon and papaya.

Green tea

There is no end to the benefits of this super drink; green tea boasts a wealth of benefits that earns it the top spot in the anti-ageing food list. Green tea is believed to help regulate blood pressure, lower blood sugar, boost the immune system, lower cholesterol and studies have even shown that green tea can be effective at preventing cancer.

Red wine

A glass of red wine adds up a good dose of anti-ageing elements including polyphenol antioxidants, minerals, and resveratrol which help to increase 'good cholesterol' levels in the body and prevent blood clotting as well as a healthy circulatory system. Resveratrol found in red wine may also be beneficial for women during the menopause by reducing the risk for conditions like breast cancer and osteoporosis resulting from reduced oestrogen levels.

Water

Few people - whether active or not - drink sufficient water, and side effects of even slight dehydration include headaches, fatigue and low concentration levels. Yet increasing fluid intake can increase energy levels, aid digestion, give skin a boost and help boost your anti-ageing armoury.

Effect of masturbation on fertility

Reproductive Health with Mrs Bobo Kayode

It has become necessary for me to touch on the subject of masturbation in response to several enquiries and probing questions I have received from our numerous readers. Masturbation is the sexual stimulation of one's own genitals (self masturbation), often to the point of orgasm. Masturbation also entails mutual stimulation usually with the hand or both hands by oneself or sometimes with a partner. Sometimes indulging in the act could get out of control and the person may indulge in excessive self-absorbed or self-indulgent masturbation. The end result of masturbation is no different from normal intercourse in that an orgasm occurs whether it is as a result of self stimulation or mutual stimulation with a partner.
Depending on your particular situation, masturbation does not lead to infertility. Neither does it have a long-term injurious effect on the testes or a woman's reproductive organs. It also has no effect on your health as most people think. However, each individual must assess the reason they are masturbating, and unless it is for medical reasons entailing the need to produce a semen sample for processing to treat infertility, it is simply an avenue through which people release sexual tension.

Nonetheless, people who masturbate excessively may face the risk of making it habit, which can be psychological and would require them visiting and confiding in a counselor or specialist. When fertility is a concern, efforts should be made to curb masturbation around the time of the wife's fertile period (when she is ovulating), as this can lead to a decrease in sperm reserves in an individual with a low or low to normal sperm count, thus reducing semen quality at the time that the highest quality is needed.

What this means is that when a couple is trying to get pregnant the male partner may need to limit masturbation and conserve the sperm stored for the fertilization of the egg.

In Males
Every time a man masturbates to completion, he has an orgasm leading to ejaculation. This could lower the sperm count available to fertilize the egg. The male body needs to produce more sperm in order to refill the sperm reservoir, and this takes time for a man who indulges in frequent daily masturbation.

As such, the store will consistently be lower than a man that does not masturbate as frequently. So for a couple trying to get pregnant, it is advisable to shore up the sperm reserve for proper use during intercourse, because when the man allows the sperms to build up in the semen this can result in increased fertility.

In Females
Female masturbation also plays a role in a couple trying out for a child, because when a female orgasm takes place, the cervix dips down to touch the end of the vagina and this increases fertility. However, if the female reaches orgasm during intercourse before the male, the acid in the vagina may enter the cervix and decrease the amount of sperm remaining viable for the fertilization of the egg.

Increasing the Sperm Count
To maintain a high sperm count, the male should endeavour to wear loose under garments, refrain from over indulging in alcohol and quit smoking. This is important because the higher the sperm count, the higher the chances that one sperm will make it to the egg to fertilise it before it absorbs into the lining of the uterus.

There are many methods available in clinics to ascertain the sperm count in each ejaculate. There are also various ways of increasing the amount of sperm and mobility, and some natural ways are most effective. The most important of these include eating a healthy diet.

Maintaining a healthy diet and taking daily vitamin and mineral supplements can help increase the overall health of the body and thus the sperm. Recent studies have also shown that zinc supplement with folic acid can increase the quality of sperm produced; this is in line with the beneficial effect of folic acid on the foetus.

Besides, with the increasing cost of fertility treatment this has given rise to the need to seek alternative ways,

which include maintaining a healthy natural diet to increase sperm quality and quantity. As such, masturbating less often and eating a healthy diet rich in Zinc and folic acid are great steps towards achieving parenthood without external intervention.

The act of masturbation can be viewed from various angles and individual cases are considered as to whether it is beneficial to you or not. For instance, a young or growing adult is inquisitive and exploratory about many things in life, and this includes their bodies. This is one of the main reasons why most young people, especially teenagers and those in their twenties, engage in this act to derive sexual pleasure.

Whether it is beneficial to you or not, outside the discussion above, depends entirely on you. When you begin to get worried that it is becoming an obsession, it is a pointer to the fact that you have reached a point where you know that it is not normal and you may need help.

Also contrary to old wives tales, masturbation does not cause blindness, insanity, hairy palms, hair loss, acne or cancer of any kind. In addition, some studies have actually shown that it greatly reduces a man's chances of developing prostate cancer.

Nonetheless, excessive masturbation can lead to physical exhaustion. So if you find yourself growing obsessed with masturbation to a point where it is interfering with work or personal relationships, it is time to cut back and speak to a professional to identify the underlying issues that may be causing the habit.

Religious Views
Some religions deem sexuality between a couple as a gift from God that finds fulfillment in marital relationships, and the misuse of sex as a sin. Therefore, because the act of masturbation entails self-stimulation, and by its nature is incapable of expressing love for another person, it is viewed as a distortion of the purpose of sex and therefore is a desire of the flesh.

This is more so when it becomes an addiction since the practice of self pleasure is not viewed as honouring God's gift of sexuality. Religious leaders therefore admonish that instead of succumbing to the desires of the flesh, they should turn to the Holy Spirit to manifest his fruit.

Others, on the other hand, view masturbation as a way of releasing tension which in turn serves as a guard against adultery, pre-marital sex, etc, and a way of balancing differing libidos between spouses.

In conclusion, masturbation has arguments for and against it, depending on what the purpose is. But it is important to note that once there is a desire to stop or reduce this act, the mind must be made up to do so. Where it is excessive, speak to an elderly or mature confidant for encouragement and also seek professional help in a counselor as required.

Kidney-friendly foods

By ANNA OKON - Nigeria

Your kidney and foods
Search Amazon.com for food and kidney
Researchers are discovering more and more links between chronic diseases, inflammation and "super foods" that may prevent or protect against undesirable fatty acid oxidation, a condition that occurs when the oxygen in your body reacts with fats in your blood and your cells.

Oxidation is a normal process for energy production and many chemical reactions in the body, but excessive oxidation of fats and cholesterol creates molecules known as free radicals that can damage your proteins, cell membranes and genes.
Heart disease, cancer, and other chronic and degenerative conditions have been linked to oxidative damage. However, foods that contain antioxidants can help neutralize free radicals and protect the body.

Red bell peppers

Red bell peppers are low in potassium and high in flavour, but that's not the only reason they're perfect for the renal diet. These tasty vegetables are also an excellent source of vitamin C and vitamin A, as well as vitamin B6, folic acid and fibre. Red bell peppers are good for you because they contain lycopene, an antioxidant that protects against certain cancers.

Cabbage

Cabbage is packed full of phytochemicals, chemical compounds in fruit or vegetables that break up free radicals before they can do damage. Many phytochemicals are also known to protect against and fight cancer, as well as foster cardiovascular health.

Garlic

Garlic helps prevent plaque from forming on your teeth lowers cholesterol and reduces inflammation. Buy it fresh, bottled, minced or powdered, and add it to meat, vegetable or pasta dishes. You can also roast a head of garlic and spread on bread.

Onions

Onion, a member of the Allium family and a basic flavouring in many cooked dishes, contains sulphur compounds which give it its pungent smell. But in addition to making you cry, onions are also rich in flavonoids, especially quercetin, a powerful antioxidant that works to reduce heart disease and protect against many cancers. Onions are low in potassium and a good source of chromium, a mineral that helps with carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism.

Apples

Apples have been known to reduce cholesterol, prevent constipation, protect against heart disease and reduce the risk of cancer. High in fibre and anti-inflammatory compounds, an apple a day may really keep the doctor away.

Red grapes

Red grapes contain several flavonoids that give them their reddish colour. Flavonoids help protect against heart disease by preventing oxidation and reducing the formation of blood clots. Resveratrol, a flavonoid found in grapes, may also stimulate production of nitric oxide which helps relax muscle cells in the blood vessels to increase blood flow. These flavonoids also provide protection against cancer and prevent inflammation. Phytochemicals in grapes, wine and grape juice have been extensively studied since the discovery that the French have much lower rates of heart disease despite a diet high in saturated fat.

Egg whites

Egg whites are pure protein and provide the highest quality of protein with all the essential amino acids. For the kidney diet, egg whites provide protein with less phosphorus substance than other protein sources such as egg yolk or meat.

Fish

Fish provides high-quality protein and contains anti-inflammatory fats called omega-3s. The healthy fats in fish help fight diseases such as heart disease and cancer. Omega-3s also help lower low-density lipoprotein or LDL cholesterol, which is bad cholesterol, and raise high-density lipoprotein or HDL cholesterol, which is good cholesterol.

Olive oil

Olive oil is a great source of oleic acid, an anti-inflammatory fatty acid. The monounsaturated fat in olive oil protects against oxidation. Olive oil is rich in ployphenols and antioxidant compounds that prevent inflammation and oxidation. Studies show that populations that use large amounts of olive oil instead of other oils have lower rates of heart disease and cancer. Buy virgin or extra virgin olive oil because they are higher in antioxidants.

Coconut oil, now gaining fame for its health-promoting benefits

By Ben Ukwuoma with agency reports

ALTHOUGH blasphemed for 60 years by the medical press, coconut oil is now gaining fame for its health-promoting benefits.

The health benefits of coconut oil include hair care, skin care, stress relief, maintaining cholesterol levels, weight loss, increased immunity, proper digestion and metabolism, relief from kidney problems, heart diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, HIV and cancer, dental care, and bone strength.

The truth about coconut oil is obvious to anyone who has studied the health of those who live in traditional tropical cultures, where coconut has been a nutritious diet staple for thousands of years.

Back in the 1930's, a dentist named Dr. Weston Price traveled throughout the South Pacific, examining traditional diets and their effect on dental and overall health.

He found that those eating diets high in coconut products were healthy and trim, despite the high fat concentration in their diet, and that heart disease was virtually non-existent.

Similarly, in 1981, researchers studied populations of two Polynesian atolls. Coconut was the chief source of caloric energy in both groups. The results, published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, demonstrated that both populations exhibited positive vascular health.

In fact, no evidence exists that the naturally occurring high saturated fat intake had any kind of harmful effect in these populations

In fact, 50 per cent of the fat content in coconut oil is a fat rarely found in nature called lauric acid. These benefits of coconut oil can be attributed to lauric acid, capric acid and caprylic acid, and its properties such as antimicrobial, antioxidant, antifungal, antibacterial, soothing.

The human body converts lauric acid into monolaurin which is claimed to help in dealing with viruses and bacteria causing diseases such as herpes, influenza, cytomegalovirus, and even HIV.

It helps in fighting harmful bacteria such as listeria monocytogenes and heliobacter pylori, and harmful protozoa such as giardia lamblia. As a result of these various health benefits of coconut oil, though its exact mechanism of action was unknown, it has been extensively used in Ayurveda, the traditional Indian medicinal system.

Essentially, coconut oil consists of more than 90 per cent of saturated fats, with traces of few unsaturated fatty acids, such as monounsaturated fatty acids and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Virgin Coconut Oil is no different from this.

The Saturated Fatty Acids: Most of them are Medium Chain Triglycerides, which are supposed to assimilate well. Lauric Acid is the chief contributor, with more than 40 per cent of the share, followed by Capric Acid, Caprylic Acid, Myristic Acid and Palmitic.

Coconut oil is about 2/3 medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs), also called medium-chain triglycerides or MCTs. These types of fatty acids produce a whole host of health benefits. Coconut oil is nature's richest source of these healthy MCFAs.

By contrast, most common vegetable or seed oils are comprised of long chain fatty acids (LCFAs), also known as long-chain triglycerides or LCTs.

Experts explained that these long-chain fatty acids are not as healthy as the MCFAs found in coconut oil, because of their inability to break down easily as they require special enzymes for digestion.

In fact, the LCFAs are said to put more strain on the pancreas, liver and the entire digestive system.

The LCFAs are predominantly stored in the body as fat, deposited within the arteries in lipid forms such as cholesterol. In contrast to LFCAs, the MCFAs found in coconut oil are the direct opposite.

They permeate cell membranes easily, and do not require special enzymes to be utilized effectively by the body.

They are easily digested, thus putting less strain on the digestive system.

LCFAs are sent directly to your liver, where they are immediately converted into energy rather than being stored as fat.

MCFAs actually help stimulate your body's metabolism, leading to weight loss.

Coconut oil is one of the best natural nutrition for hair. It helps in healthy growth of hair providing them a shiny complexion. Regular massage of the head with coconut oil ensures that the scalp is free of dandruff, lice, and lice eggs, even if your scalp is dry.

Coconut oil is very soothing and hence it helps in removing stress. Applying coconut oil to the head followed with a gentle massage is said to help in removing mental fatigue.

Besides the mounting medical and scientific evidence that coconut oil has powerful positive health benefits when eaten, professional has also used it for decades massage therapists to knead away tight stressed muscles.

Coconut oil is actually ideal for skin care. It helps protect your skin from the aging effects of free radicals, and can help improve the appearance of skin with its anti-aging benefits.

In fact, physiologist and biochemist Dr Ray Peat, considers coconut oil an antioxidant, due to its stability and resistance to oxidation and free radical formation.

Like Peat, many experts believe coconut oil may help restore more youthful-looking skin. When coconut oil is absorbed into the skin and connective tissues, it helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by helping to keep the connective tissues strong and supple, and aids in exfoliating the outer layer of dead skin cells, making the skin smoother.

The oil is also excellent massage oil for the skin as well. It acts as an effective moisturizer on all types of skins including dry skin. The benefit of coconut oil on the skin is comparable to that of mineral oil.

Coconut oil helps in preventing premature aging and degenerative diseases due to its antioxidant properties

Cheap investment, but wonderful returns if true......

A friend of mine told me a story about how when he was a kid he was in the hospital & near dying.  His Italian grandmother came to the hospital & told a family member to go buy her a large onion & a new pair of white cotton socks.  She sliced the onion open then put a slice on the bottom of each of his feet & put the white cotton socks on him.  In the morning when he awoke they removed the socks.  The slices of onion were black & his fever was gone.  The following story that someone sent to me might have some truth in it & we are going to try this this winter.

In 1919 when the flu killed 40  million people there was this Doctor that visited the many  farmers to see if he could help them combat the flu. Many of the farmers and their family had contracted it and  many died.

The doctor came upon this one farmer and to his surprise,  everyone was very healthy. When the doctor asked what  the farmer was doing that was different the wife replied  that she had placed an unpeeled onion in a dish in the rooms  of the home, (probably only two rooms back then). The  doctor couldn't believe it and asked if he could have one of  the onions and place it under the microscope.  She gave  him one and when he did this, he did find the flu virus in  the onion.  It obviously absorbed the bacteria, therefore, keeping the family healthy.

Now, I heard this story from my hairdresser in AZ.   She said that several years ago many of her employees were  coming down with the flu and so were many of her  customers.  The next year she placed several bowls with  onions around in her shop.  To her surprise, none of  her staff got sick.  It must work..  (And no, she is not in the onion business.)

The moral of the story is, buy some onions and place them  in bowls around your home.  If you work at a desk,  place one or two in your office or under your desk or even  on top somewhere.  Try it and see what happens.   We did it last year and we never  got the flu.
If this helps you and your loved ones from getting sick,  all the better.  If you do get the flu, it just might  be a mild case..
Whatever, what have you to lose?  Just a few bucks on  onions!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

Now there is a P. S. to this for I sent it to a friend in Oregon who regularly contributes material to me on health issues.
She replied with this most interesting experience about onions:
Weldon, thanks for the reminder.  I don't know about the farmers story...but, I do know that I contacted pneumonia and needless to say I was very ill...I came across an article that said to cut both ends off an onion put one end on a fork and then place the forked end into an empty jar...placing the jar next to the sick patient at night. It said the onion would be black in the morning from the germs...sure enough it happened just like that...the onion was a mess and I began to feel better.

Another thing I read in the article was that onions and garlic placed around the room saved many from the black plague years ago. They have powerful antibacterial, antiseptic properties.

Guyabano, The Soursop Fruit

Sent by: Samuel Ejiofor Obukwelu - Nigeria
The Sour Sop or the fruit from the graviola tree is a miraculous natural cancer cell killer 10,000 times stronger than Chemo .
Why are we not aware of this?
You can help a friend in need by letting him know or just drink some sour sop juice yourself as prevention from time to time.
The taste is not bad after all. It’s completely natural and definitely has no side effects.
If you have the space, plant one in your garden. The other parts of the tree are also useful. The next time you have a fruit juice, ask for a sour sop.
How many people died in vain not knowing the secret of the miraculous Graviola tree? This tree is low and is called graviola in Brazil , guanabana in Spanish and has the uninspiring name "soursop" in English. The fruit is very large and the subacid sweet white pulp is eaten out of hand or, more commonly, used to make fruit drinks, sherbets and such.

The principal interest in this plant is because of its strong anti-cancer effects.
Although it is effective for a number of medical conditions, it is its anti tumor effect that is of most interest.

This plant is a proven cancer remedy for cancers of all types. Besides being a cancer remedy, graviola is a broad spectrum antimicrobial agent for both bacterial and fungal infections, is effective against internal parasites and worms, lowers high blood pressure and is used for depression, stress and nervous disorders.
Deep within the Amazon Rainforest grows a tree that could literally revolutionize what you, your doctor and the rest of the world think about cancer treatment and chances of survival.
The future has never looked more promising.
Research shows that with extracts from this miraculous tree it now may be possible to:
* Attack cancer safely and effectively with an all-natural therapy that does not cause extreme nausea, weight loss and hair loss
* Protect your immune system and avoid deadly infections
* Feel stronger and healthier throughout the course of the treatment
* Boost your energy and improve your outlook on life

The source o f this information is just as stunning: It comes from one of America 's largest drug manufacturers, the fruit of over 20 laboratory tests conducted since the 1970's!

What those tests revealed was nothing short of mind numbing...

Extracts from the tree were shown to:
* Effectively target and kill malignant cells in 12 types of cancer, including colon,
breast, prostate, lung and pancreatic cancer.. * The tree compounds proved to be up to 10,000 times stronger in slowing the growth of cancer cells than Adriamycin, a commonly used chemotherapeutic drug!

* What's more, unlike chemotherapy, the compound extracted from the Graviola tree selectively hunts down and kills only cancer cells.

It does not harm healthy cells!

The amazing anti-cancer properties of the Graviola tree have been extensively researched.

Various parts of the Graviola tree--including the bark, leaves, roots, fruit and fruit-seeds- -have been used for centuries by medicine men and native Indians in South America to treat heart disease, asthma, liver problems and arthritis.

Graviola proved itself to be a cancer-killing dynamo. Graviola's "leaves and stems were found effective in attacking and destroying malignant cells."

...Since 1976, Graviola has proven to be an immensely potent cancer killer in 20 independent laboratory tests,

A study published in the Journal of Natural Products,

following a recent study conducted at Catholic University of South Korea stated that one chemical in Graviola was found to selectively kill colon cancer cells at "10,000 times the potency of (the commonly used chemotherapy drug) Adriamycin.. ."

The most significant part of the Catholic University of South Korea report is that

Graviola was shown to selectively target the cancer cells, leaving healthy cells untouched.
Unlike chemotherapy, which indiscriminately targets all actively reproducing cells (such as stomach and hair cells), causing the often devastating side effects of nausea and hair loss in cancer patients.

A study at Purdue University recently found that leaves from the Graviola tree killed cancer cells among six human cell lines and were especially effective against prostate, pancreatic and lung cancers.
